As shown below, the Job Order Action report helps
management plan which steps need to be performed
in order to meet the necessary commitments to the
customer. All required parts and labor functions
can be reviewed either in summary for all jobs or
in detail by specific job. When planning, managers
can be selective by looking at all jobs that are
going to be opened by a certain date range, or jobs
that are required to be completed by a certain date.
You can easily determine which jobs are "ready"
for production based on parts and labor availability.
With this real time updated information, the flow
of communication between sales personnel and customers
and between purchasing personnel and vendors is
significantly enhanced. By constantly monitoring
jobs, improved profitability and customer satisfaction
are assured.
